Pelo Pelo was co-founded by a dear friend of mine, Alice Bayer. Together with her partner, Dennis Kaiser, they create garments using Swiss fox fur. Dennis Kaiser, who hunts himself, discovered that the majority of the fur is discarded.
Knowing so, drove them to develop a collection under Pelo Pelo, which exclusively uses fur sourced Swiss hunting in accordance with the government's forest regulations. And also to undertake the associated educational work.
I was delighted to create a series of photographs for Pelo Pelo. As a lifelong vegetarian and Peta supporter, I still believe it is important to differentiate it and use valuable material like fur instead of it going to waste.
